Leo Club

The Rusk High School Leo club is sponsored by the Rusk Lions Club. Lions Club International is comprised of Lion and Leo Clubs in almost every country in the world. The year 2017 is the 100thanniversary of the Lions Clubs and the 60th anniversary of Leo Clubs.

The RHS Leo Club’s motto is “We Serve – with Eagle Pride and Lion Hearts.”

Although Leo means a Lion cub, it also stands for - “Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.”

Some major projects this year included sending 180 military care packages overseas, helping with Trick-or-Treat on the Square, volunteering monthly at the Good Samaritan, raising money for projects at the Crisis Center, participating in the District food drive, collecting food and packing food baskets for military families in need at our fall conference in Killeen, and our upcoming trip to Texas Lions Camp for Disabled Children to help get the camp ready for summer.
